Jayne has been working in the events world for over 20 years. Starting in 1999 with Powerwaves, Jayne established a fantastic wealth of experience in the corporate world, creating the corporate activities programme for the world renowned Chewton Glen Hotel. In 2007 Jayne was headhunted by EMG and continued to grow, expanding into the international events world with conferences across Europe. After a successful decade with EMG, Jayne decided to set up Walder Events with her husband, Adam. Mother to two rugby mad teenagers, Finn and Seth.
Favourite Event: The Paneria Classic Yacht Regatta. Long days, but worth all of the hardwork. Classic Yachts, classic Italian designer watches and plenty of sunshine!
Favourite Movie: Without a doubt, Dirty Dancing. "No one puts Baby in the corner!"
Adam cut his teeth on the events world, working on yachts for corporate events, then moving over to the land based activities. Adam has been working in the events world for over 20 years, specialising in operations. If you have met Adam you will know he LOVES events and will make sure you are well looked after. Adam's our man on the ground, co-ordinating events, generally running around making sure everything runs smoothly. Though in reality its the girls in office that have made all the magic happen!
Outside of Walder Events Adam is a huge rugby fan, and coaches in his spare time. As well as being a firefighter, so you rest assured you are in safe hands.
Favourite Event: The Italian Job, though thats really only because it involves cars and dressing up!
Favourite Movie: Star Wars, and anything to do with Star Wars. I like Star Wars!
Melissa has been working in the events industry for close to twenty years. First working with Jayne at Powerwaves in the early 2000’s, they have been inseparable ever since. A short stint in both the online retail sector and the travel industry have given Melissa a rounded view of the business market and a better understanding of what our clients want. Melissa has a wealth of knowledge of various venues and events on offer throughout the UK and Europe and is looking out for what is opening and new to offer. Always keen for a cheeky chocolate, Melissa is the heart and soul of Walder Events!
Favourite Event: A weekend programme. Home or overseas, finding the perfect venue for the client, organising the logistics, the menus and activities. Then to watch it all come together, thats the magic right there! Favourite Movie: Favourite film is definitely Elf - ‘great news, I saw a dog today’ - Best line ever!
